Delete your account and data.

You can permanently delete your InvestHome account and the personal data associated with it at any time. Here's how, what gets removed, and how long it takes.

How to delete your account

Two ways to request deletion

Option 1 — Delete from inside the app (recommended)

  1. Open the InvestHome app and sign in.
  2. Go to the Account tab.
  3. Scroll down and tap Delete Account.
  4. Tap Delete Account again to confirm the warning.
  5. Enter the verification code we email to your registered address to authorise the deletion.

Once confirmed, your account and associated data are permanently deleted. This action cannot be undone.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you can't access the app, email support@investhome.au from the email address on your account with the subject "Account and data deletion request". We may ask you to verify your identity before we process the request.

What is deleted and what is kept

What gets deleted

  • Your account and login credentials
  • Your profile and personal details (name, email, phone)
  • Lots and listings you created, your saved properties and saved searches
  • Your expressions of interest, alert preferences and notification settings
  • Messages and in-app activity tied to your account

What we may retain (and for how long)

After deletion we remove your personal data from active systems. A limited set of records — for example transaction, billing or other records we are required to keep by law — may be retained for the period required by applicable Australian law, after which they are deleted. Anonymised or aggregated data that can no longer identify you may be retained. Backups are purged on our standard rotation.

Timeframe

In-app deletions take effect immediately on confirmation. Email requests are actioned within 30 days of us verifying your identity.
